In Canon:
Created on the planet Balmar, Cobray Gordon is an imperfect clone of Ingram Prisken. As part of the Golar Golems, a Balmar elite force sent to spy on Earth, Cobray was supposed to be the pilot for the Strike Gundam from the Gundam SEED universe. During his trip to Earth, he noticed the Cross-Gate Dimensional System was activated. After exploring it, the Astranagun, with Ingram's soul in tow, latched onto his mech and merged with it. When Ingram's soul entered his body, Cobray lost all of his memories and only knew that his name was Cobray. Because he was able to reform his personality, Cobray managed to resist all of Ingram's attempts to completely control his body. He then joined the Alpha numbers and formed a unique friendship with Arado and Seolla, whom both have saved his life multiple times. From there, he started his life as a Timediver.
In Poly:
Cobray still attempts to complete his duty as Timediver inside the city. However, with his power limited, he can no longer exert complete control over events that happen. However, this has given him time to form lasting relationships, something he has never been able to do in his own universe. Cobray highly values his friends and would do much of anything for them.
